Background
iMvula has various business units of which Private Security is their largest revenue contributor with almost 2000 guarding sites and 8000 security officers nationwide. Altron Nexus provides iMvula with the majority of their mission-critical communication requirements.
Key Challenges
iMvula’s previous solution was made up of analogue narrow-band repeater network system for which coverage and secure communication was a problem especially in remote locations Altron Nexus’ PT-X communication solution fully met the coverage requirements while providing additional features and benefits: Secure Voice, Voice recording, messages, Online status, National group calls, live GPS with full Dispatcher functions.
Intended Outcome(s)
Altron Nexus provided iMvula with 1500 Hytera robust critical communications devices. The majority of them using our broadband push-to-talk solution, PT-X, and the balance using our resilient mission critical DMR solution. Our PT-X solution allows for seamless nationwide communications using public cellular 3G/4G/5G Broadband networks for greater coverage.
